Recorded at home in Logan, UT, December 2019 - February 2020. Utah has a long history of identifying its culture with that of a colony of busy bees, working hard to build a tightly structured and profitable society. There's also a deep-seated science fiction streak in the local society, a love of all things cosmic and larger-than-life. Songs from the Hive is intended to be a pure piece of Utah, a short history of how it's changed in the past couple hundred years, and a nod to the mindset of stellar fantasies.
